Condensate Overflow Safety Pans

If you have ever had a plugged condensate drain line on your evaporator coil, especially on an upstairs AC or Heat Pump unit you already know how expensive it can be due to ruined sheet rock ceilings and flooring, carpeting, wrecked computers or furniture!

These pans go under the AC coil or under the entire furnace, air handler and coil in some cases. They are plastic and have a built in spot with an attached 3/4" P.V.C. fitting ( see right side of photo ) to be able to run a 3/4" P.V.C. drain line to the outside of the building, assuming you can get at least 1/4" per foot pitch for the water to run out. Available in (2) sizes only.

Also check out the Little Giant Overflow Float Switch below, which can be set in the pan. When water is sensed by the Float Switch it will shut down the AC or Heat Pump, alarming you that there is a water problem that needs to be taken care of!
